Deendayal Lunch Box

The Yuva Zep Pratishtan launched a scheme of providing lunch box to poor patients and other needy people at the cost of Rs. 5 only.  With a hope of good health, patients as well as relatives come down to the city and due to lack of money can’t afford cooked hygienic meal. It is a service oriented venture.

People can either donate food grain, edible oil, spices in sufficient quantity or donate Rs 7200 towards expenses of lunch box for the entire year at the rate of Rs. 600 per month. Among numerous hospitals in Dhantoli, lies a tiny shop in front “Gauraksha Sabha” named “Deendayal Thali Box.” Buzzing crowd can be seen outside the outlet every day. The lunch box contains curry and 3 chapattis. A sense of relief is clearly visible among the beneficiaries.
